for factor you basically have to make an equation simpler my finding the GCF ( greatest common factor) and using this formula ax^2+bx+ c
Here is How
x^2+2x+1 for factoring you have to find 2 numbers that = 2x by adding and 1 by multiplying
Answer (x+1) (x+1)
